1 RESOLUTION NO. pA aU <br /> 2 <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing replacement of existing sewer lines <br /> 3 on an emergency basis with installation of new sewer lines <br /> in Glenhaven Heights II. <br /> 4 <br /> 5 WHEREAS, Tyko Industries is developing a plat just south of Glenhaven <br /> 6 Drive and North of 51st Street S.W. The City of Everett maintains and <br /> 7 operates a sewer lift station at 51st Street S.W. This plat will allow the <br /> 8 City to abandon this lift station and service this area by gravity provided <br /> 9 that 168 feet of existing sewer in Glenhaven Drive is replaced with a new <br /> 10 sewer line at a lower elevation; provided further that in order to minimize <br /> 11 disruption to existing customers the replacement of the existing City line <br /> 12 should be done at the same time as the new sewers are installed in the plat; <br /> 13 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT HEREBY RESOLVES <br /> 14 that an emergency is declared to exist requiring sole source contract with <br /> 15 Tyko Industries to replace 168 feet of existing City sewer main in Glenhaven <br /> 16 Drive. <br /> 17 / tor,„at,A <br /> 18 <br /> Councilperson Introducing Resolution <br /> 19 <br /> 20 PASSED and APPROVED this 7 day o 1989. <br /> 21 <br /> 22 <br /> 141'4e( <br /> 23 Cou it rent <br /> 24 <br /> (4257) <br /> 25 <br /> 26 <br /> 27 <br /> 28 <br /> 29 <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 <br />
