REOLUTION NO. ,/73 <br /> A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING <br /> FOR ADOPTION OF THE SOLID WASTE <br /> COMPREHENSIVE MANAGEMENT PLAN AND EIS <br /> Whereas, the City Council, in Resolution 2994, authorized <br /> and directed the Mayor to prepare a solid waste management plan for <br /> the City of Everett, and; <br /> Whereas, the Mayor appointed a solid waste planning <br /> committee, comprised of citizens, which met, considered alternatives <br /> and recommended a plan and a preferred alternative to the City <br /> Council, and; <br /> Whereas, the City Council recieved a draft Solid Waste <br /> Comprehensive Management Plan on November 30, 1988, and; <br /> Whereas, the City has prepared a Programmatic Environmental <br /> Impact Statement ( EIS) to review impacts associated with the plan <br /> and reviewing alternatives, and; <br /> Whereas, to develop the EIS and facilitate review of the <br /> plan, public hearings and meetings were held, including a hearing <br /> held on the Draft Solid Waste Management Plan on January 4, 1989 and <br /> an EIS Scoping hearing held on April 13, 1989 ; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, a public hearing on adoption of the City of <br /> EVerett Solid Waste Management should be held by the Everett City <br /> Council on May 24, 1989 at 8:30 a.m. at the Everett City Council <br /> Chambers, 3002 Wetmore, Everett, Wa. 98201. <br /> ti;;1214 <br /> ncilman Introducing Resolution <br /> PASSED and APPROVED This day of May, 1989 <br /> Council resi e t <br />
