D <br /> RESOLUTION NO. eOO fi <br /> A RESOLUTION establishing a transit fare free day. <br /> WHEREAS, May 18, 1988, has been proclaimed as <br /> Transit Appreciation Day; and <br /> WHEREAS, it has been proclaimed that transit is <br /> vital to the growth and continued economic, social and <br /> environmental well-being of the City of Everett; and <br /> WHEREAS, however, without the continued support of <br /> Everett citizens Everett Transit would not exist; and <br /> WHEREAS, Everett Transit, City Administration and <br /> the City Council wish to demonstrate their appreciation to <br /> riders of the Everett Transit system and for the support <br /> they have shown for this system. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the City <br /> Council of the City of Everett declares Wednesday, May 18 , <br /> 1988, to be a fare free day for Eve t Transit riders. <br /> Council" anIntroducing Resolution <br /> PASSED and APPROVED this' ` day,cf May, 1988 . <br /> i <br /> Council resid) z <br />
