RESOLUTION NO.,-;M27/ A RESOLUTION amending the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Everett as provided for by the Everett Municipal Code Title 2, Section 20, Subsection 120, to encompass Mukilteo School District No. 6 property located north of 100th Street SW and including the Sno Isle Vocational Skills Center, Explorer Jr. High School, Challenger Elementary School, and the School District Administrative Center facilities WHEREAS, the City Council finds that on October 20, 1987, the Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding the establishment of Comprehensive General Land Use Plan Policies and a Plan Map designation for the hereinafter depicted property; and WHEREAS, the existing Snohomish County land use guidelines and regulations consist of the Paine Field Area Comprehensive Plan; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that a Notice of Intention to Annex to the City of Everett for the property is pending before the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that State law requires that a Comprehensive Plan land use designation be established for areas annexed to the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds after reviewing Planning Commission recommendations at public hearings on //--6 , � and c;;7-1/ 6 1988 that the General Comprehensive Plan policies and map designation hereinafter set forth are in the best interest of the City of Everett. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: 1. The Comprehensive Plan designation of Schools (B.2.1.) is hereby adopted for the property as set forth on the attached Comprehensive Plan map which is incorporated herein by reference.
