it <br /> RESOLUTION NO.299' <br /> A RESOLUTION TO PURCHASE DESIGN SERVICES, EQUIPMENT AND INSTALLATION OF THE <br /> CONTROL & TELEMETRY CIRCUITRY FOR PANTHER CREEK AUTOMATION FROM STEAD & <br /> BAGGERLY, INC. <br /> WHEREAS, the Utilities Division of the City of Everett Public Works <br /> Department requires the design services, equipment and installation of <br /> control & telemetry circuitry for automation of the Panther Creek Water <br /> Station; and <br /> WHEREAS, said equipment and services must be designed, ordered, delivered, <br /> and installed in a timely fashion with a minimum interruption in operation <br /> such that the Utilities Division can be operating the Panther Creek Water <br /> Station from a remote site prior to the spring of 1988; and <br /> WHEREAS, Stead and Baggerly, Inc. was the primary designer, equipment <br /> supplier, and installer for the Utilities Division Instrumentation & <br /> Control Systems, and as such will be able to integrate the new system into <br /> the existing scheme with a minimum of design effort and system down time; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, Stead and Baggerly, Inc . is the only firm with the knowledge of <br /> existing Utilities systems, operations, and equipment necessary to complete <br /> this job in a timely and cost effective manner and is therefore the sole <br /> source. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT <br /> that the Purchasing Division is authorized to purchase sole source the <br /> services and control equipment neces = y to automate the Panther Creek <br /> Water Station, not to exceed $17, 000. 16 . <br /> /_ a oPr <br /> Co ilmem.1•r Introducing Resolution <br /> PASSED AND APPROVED this day of February, 1988 <br /> 4;, <br /> Council Preside t <br /> gZ <br />
