RESOLUTION NO <br /> a2 <br /> A Resolution amending the Land Use Map of the Everett <br /> Comprehensive General Plan for property located within <br /> the east side of the 3600 block of Rucker Avenue. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett adopted a Generalized Land Use Plan Map <br /> in 1967, and adopted the Everett Community Plan in 1972; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett adopted a Comprehensive General Plan <br /> Land Use Map designating areas for residential development in 1986; and <br /> WHEREAS, certain property owned by Dr. Edward Diamond, located within <br /> the east side of the 3600 block of Rucker Avenue is designated by the <br /> Comprehensive General Plan residential land Use map as "Multiple Family, 25 <br /> to 50 dwellings per gross acre"; and <br /> WHEREAS, Dr. Edward Diamond filed an application for an amendment to <br /> the residential land use map of the Comprehensive General Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett Planning Commission held public hearings <br /> to consider the requested General Plan amendment on January 6 and <br /> January 27, 1987 and approved a change in land use designation from <br /> "Multiple Family, 25 to 50 dwellings per gross acre" to "Commercial" for the <br /> east side of the 3600 block of Rucker Avenue. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT: <br /> 1. The Everett City Council hereby approves a change in the land use <br /> designation of the east side of the 3600 block of Rucker Avenue from <br /> "Multiple Family, 25 to 50 dwellings per gross acre" to "Commercial." <br /> 2.
