RESOLUTION NO .cq/e $' <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing sole source purchase <br /> and work to proceed as necessary to replace <br /> the traffic signal at Pacific/Rucker knocked <br /> down by a delivery truck on Saturday, 9/11 /82 , <br /> and hereby declaring an emergency to exist. <br /> WHEREAS , the Pacific and Rucker traffic signal is necessary <br /> for the safe and efficient control of Central Business District <br /> vehicle and pedestrian traffic ; and <br /> WHEREAS , the signal was rendered inoperative by a collision <br /> last Saturday; and <br /> WHEREAS , the fastest possible way to reinstall the signal <br /> is to replace various components by sole source ; <br /> NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF EVERETT CITY <br /> COUNCIL that the emergency repair is authorized including purchase <br /> of necessary parts and installation work . <br /> Councilperson In oducing Resolution <br /> Passed and approved this /6"-11 day of Sept . , 1982 . <br /> --Council President <br />
