RESOLUTION NO. <br /> A RESOLUTION for proposed vacation of <br /> a portion of Norton Avenue (East of <br /> Scott Paper Company) at 23rd Street extended <br /> Westerly. <br /> WHEREAS, the owners of more than two-thirds of the front footage of: <br /> Beginning at the City Monument at 24th Street and Grand <br /> Avenue, in the City of Everett, Washington; thence N 0°08 '00" E, <br /> along the Grand Avenue monument line, a distance of 26.00 <br /> feet; thence N 89°52'00" W, along the North right-of-way <br /> line of 24th Street, and the projection thereof, a distance <br /> of 567.67 feet; thence N 3°03'00" E for 3.99 feet to the <br /> point of beginning of a curve, at which point the radius <br /> point of said curve bears S 86°57'00" E; thence on said <br /> curve, to the right, having a radius of 5844.65 feet; and <br /> consuming a central angle of 4°26'00", an arc distance of <br /> 452.24 feet to the point of ending of said curve, at which <br /> point the radius point of said curve bears S 82°31 '00" E; <br /> thence N 7°29 '00" E, a distance of 25.98 feet to the true <br /> point of beginning; thence continue N 7 29 '00" E, a distance <br /> of 54.52 feet; thence S 25°20'00" E a distance of 60.70 <br /> feet; thence N 89°52'00" W a distance of 33.00 feet to the <br /> true point of beginning. <br /> have petitioned for vacation of said right-of-way; and <br /> WHEREAS, R.C.W. 35.79.010 provides that the City Council shall <br /> by resolution fix a date for a public hearing on said petition; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY <br /> OF EVERETT, that a public hearing be set for 8 :30 a.m. on February 6, <br /> 1980, in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, to consider the proposed <br /> vacation of a portion of aforesaid right-of-way as herein described. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, notice be given as required by law <br /> as set forth in R.C.W. 35.79.020. <br /> yam' <br /> Councilman Introducing Resolution <br /> Passed and approved this jt; day of [0 ,4 , 1980. <br /> Ai <br /> • <br /> Council President <br />
