ORDINANCE NO. /4'7 -$'2' <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 1367-87 <br /> Section 3, 4A and 5 to approved budget amount <br /> for Howarth Park Trestle and Seawall Repair <br /> WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1367-87 outlined the critical need to repair <br /> and replace the Howarth Park Trestle and Seawall; and <br /> WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1367-87 only included funds for the construction <br /> contract and did not include Washington State Sales Tax or Engineering <br /> fees; and <br /> WHEREAS, The additional Washington State Sales Tax and Engineering <br /> totals $42,906; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE EVERETT CITY COUNCIL THAT: <br /> Section 3, 4A, and 5 of Ordinance 1367-87 which read as follows: <br /> Section 3: The total cost of the improvements authorized is $294,852 <br /> which shall include all costs related to design, construction, contract <br /> administration, plan development and associated costs. <br /> Section 4: A. The sum of $294,852 is hereby appropriated to fund 388, <br /> Program 917 "Howarth Park Trestle and Seawall Repair". <br /> Section 5: The City Treasurer of the City of Everett is hereby authorized <br /> to establish an interfund loan not to exceed $249,852. <br /> BE AND THE SAME IS HEREBY AMMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 3: The total cost of the improvements authorized is $337,758 which <br /> shall including all costs related to design, construction, contract admin- <br /> istration, plan development and associated costs. <br /> Section 4: A.
