EI/FJFETT <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 7206 <br /> A RESOLUTION waiving public bidding requirements and approving a multiple-year sole-source purchase <br /> of Support and Maintenance for Cayenta Financials Software from N. Harris Computer Corporation. <br /> WHEREAS,the City has chosen and used Cayenta Financials as its enterprise financial software since 1992; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS,N. Harris Computer Corporation, as the developer and licensor of Cayenta Financials, is the <br /> only source of maintenance and support for this software; <br /> WHEREAS, as long as the City maintains its Cayenta financial system, it makes sense that the sole source <br /> purchase be approved for multiple years rather than simply an annual basis; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT <br /> that because there is clearly and legitimately only one source capable of supplying Support and Maintenance <br /> for Cayenta Financials Software; the City hereby waives competitive bidding requirements and authorizes the <br /> purchase of Support and Maintenance from Cayenta Canada Inc. for multiple years. <br /> Councilperson Introducing Resolution <br /> PASSED and APPROVED this 10th day of January , 2018. <br /> /°6fs" e, <br /> Council President <br />
