79/-/9 <br /> S . <br /> 1 ORDINANCE NO. Y/- 79 <br /> 2 AN ORDINANCE establishing Greens Fees for the City of Everett <br /> 3 Municipal Golf Courses, Legion Memorial and Walter E. Hall. <br /> 4 <br /> 5 WHEREAS, there is a need to increase existing Golf Course Greens Fees in order <br /> to provide necessary funds to make annual payments on the Golf Course Irrigation <br /> 6 System, and to continue the Golf Course Contingency Fund for future capital <br /> 7 improvement projects and to provide additional revenues to offset the increasing costs <br /> 8 of maintenance and operation; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council adopted the policy of the City that the Golf <br /> 9 Courses be self-supporting within their fee structures; and <br /> 10 WHEREAS, the Annual Memberships and the Daily Rates will increase each <br /> calendar year. This will be reflected from the Fiscal Budget according to the annual <br /> 11 <br /> percentage increase of salaries and maintenance and operating costs; and <br /> 12 WHEREAS, the Everett Parks and Recreation Board at their Regular Meeting of <br /> 13 January 16, 1979, approved a motion to increase the rates as reflected below. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> 14 <br /> Section 1: That the Golf Course Greens Fees for Legion Memorial Golf Course <br /> 15 and Walter E. Hall Golf Course shall be as follows: <br /> 16 <br /> 9 Hole Weekday $ 4.00 <br /> 17 <br /> 18 Hole Weekday $ 5.00 <br /> 18 <br /> 9 Hole Weekend $ 5.00 <br /> 19 <br /> 18 Hole Weekend $ 6.00 <br /> 20 <br /> *Juniors (17 & Under) <br /> 21 Quarterly - Weekdays only $ 35.00 <br /> 22 *Seniors (65 & Over) <br /> Annual - Weekdays only $ 80.00 <br /> 23 <br /> +*Family Annual $200.00 + <br /> 24 <br /> *Single Annual $200.00 <br /> 25 <br /> + Rates for Family Annual are $200.00 for 1st member, + $75.00 each <br /> 26 additional member. <br /> 27 * The weekends will be made available for Annual Memberships during the <br /> months of January, February, March, October, November and December. <br /> 28 <br /> 29 <br /> MAYOR <br /> 30 AT ST: <br /> 31 4 �h t <br /> • r <br /> 32 <br /> Passed: ..7- ) - / 9 <br /> Valid: _ - <br /> Published: <br />
