` v <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 7 '7 , <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending Sections 2, 3 and 5 of Ordinance <br /> 445-77 creating a special construction fund entitled <br /> "North Broadway Improvements" and increasing the <br /> appropriation for this construction to $1,332,600. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That Sections 2, 3 and 5 of Ordinance No. 445-77 which read <br /> as follows: <br /> Section 2: <br /> Authorization is given to provide for construction of improvements <br /> to North Broadway between California Street and 7th Street, which <br /> will result in a two-way left turn lane throughout the project, <br /> widening of the street's curb-to-curb width to provide on street <br /> parking on both sides of the street with new sidewalks adjacent, <br /> new bus shelter areas, water line replacement, street lighting, <br /> special design features, identification signing, and other minor <br /> items of work as may be necessary to implement these improvements. <br /> Section 3: <br /> The total estimated cost of the improvements herein authorized <br /> is $860,000 which shall include all cost of the design, plan <br /> and specification preparation, construction and associated costs. <br /> Section 5: <br /> The sum of $860,000 be appropriated for the purposes herein speci- <br /> fied in the following manner: <br /> a. Fund 314 - NORTH BROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS <br /> 1. Program 603 - NORTH BROADWAY IMPROVEMENT 860,000 <br /> b. SOURCE OF FUNDS <br /> Community Development <br /> Reserve Fund (Fund 150) 760,000 <br /> Water Fund (Fund 410) 100,000 <br /> TOTAL 860,000 <br /> c. This appropriation shall not lapse, but shall be carried <br /> forward from year to year until fully expended or the <br /> purpose has been accomplished or abandoned without necessity <br /> of reappropriation, as per R.C.W. 35.33.151. <br /> are hereby amended as follows: <br /> Section 2: <br /> Authorization is given to provide for construction of <br /> improvements to North Broadway between California <br /> Street and 7th Street, which will result in a two-way <br /> left turn lane throughout the project, widening of the <br /> street's curb-to-curb width to provide on street parking <br /> on both sides of the street with new sidewalks adjacent, <br /> new bus shelter areas, water line replacement, street <br /> lighting, traffic signal system, special design features, <br /> identification signing, and other minor items of work as <br /> may be necessary to implement these improvements. <br />
