Upon calling the
City of Everett and speaking with Mr. Larry Callahan, Building
Official, I found the Permit Numbers referenced (#16923 and N5764)
were issued to "Commercial Improvements Corporation", the contractor
hired to put up the demising wall of your space.
Upon calling Mr. Arnold Smith of T.A. Construction (formerly known as
Commercial Improvements Corporation), I was told the final permit was
not called for by Commercial Improvements Curporation because the ;
"Tenant was havin9 interior work done by its own contrartor and it
was decied that the final inspection would be called for and done
at the same time as the one for the interior work contracted for by
the Tenant." Obviously, there has been some miscommunication somewhere
along the line. Nowever, the bottom line is that the City of verett
states TENANT CANNOT BE OPEN FOR BUSINESS WITIIOUT A FINAL INSPECTION
AND SIGN OFF BY THE BUILDIN6 OFFICIAL THHT THE PREMISES MAY BE OCCUPIED.
I suggest you contact your contractor or Larry Callahan at the City of
Everett (259-8745) immediately to resolve the situation.
Mr. Arnold Smith stated he would contact "Tenant" and try to resolve
the situation. I request that I be kept advised as to the status. If
I may be of assistance, please let me know. Diana Ivarson and Rick Drottz,
former Property Managers of College Plaza are available to answer any
questions on past occurrences if this would help resolve any confusion.
I await a response fr•om you and from Mr. Smith and will then follow-up
with the City of Everett to assure all is well.
Sincerely,
TRf MANAGEMENT CORPORATION
, C
Jessica C.
