76.,2 - s- ci <br /> ORDINANCE NO. .;,5 7:‘ <br /> AN ORDINANCE supplementing appropriations of the <br /> budget for the City of Everett for 1976; and <br /> amending Ordinance No. 376-75, as amended by <br /> Ordinance Nos. 387-76 and 388-76 , and declar- <br /> ing an emergency to exist. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has now appropriated certain <br /> local, State and Federal funds to augment previously approved <br /> programs within the 1976 budget; and <br /> WHEREAS, the source and application of funds have been <br /> identified; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Everett does ordain that the <br /> following supplements shall be made to the 1976 budget; <br /> Section 1: That the sum of $33,700. 00 be appropriated in <br /> the following manner: <br /> a. Fund 410 - Water <br /> (1) Program 638 - Spada/Chaplain Lakes <br /> Rehabilitation Project, increase 1976 <br /> budget appropriations $33, 700. 00 <br /> Original appropriation, Ordinance <br /> #376-75 -- <br /> Amended by this appropriation $33 ,700. 00 <br /> New Program Total :33 ,700. 00 <br /> The $33 ,700. 00 appropriation is for the City' s <br /> participation in a Spada/Chaplain Lakes Rehabilitation Project. <br /> The purpose of the project is to improve water quality in the <br /> Basin. Snohomish County Metropolitan Municipal Corporation <br /> (SNO-MET) submitted applications for funding of this project <br /> to Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Department of <br /> Ecology (DOE) . The cost of the project is $198, 000. 00. EPA <br /> will participate to the amount of $99, 000. 00; DOE $65,300. 00, <br /> and the City $33 ,700. 00. <br />
