1 ORDINANCE NO. 2 AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the City of Everett, as provided by Everett Municipal Code 3 Title 19 (Ordinance 3572) (Holly Drive & Dorn Ave) 4 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing 5 regarding rezoning of the hereinafter described property from 6 R-4 , Multiple Family High Density Residence to C-1 , General 7 Commercial. 8 WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Everett, after 9 hearing the recommendation of the Planning Commission of the 10 City of Everett, has determined that said property should be so 11 rezoned and zoned C-1 . 12 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: 13 Section 1 : That the City Council of the City of Everett does hereby find that the zoning change 14 hereinafter set forth is in the best interest of the City of Everett. 15 Section 2 : That the Zoning Map of the City of 16 Everett, as established by Everett Municipal Code Title 19 (Ordinance 3572 , Section 4 , as amended) 17 is hereby amended as follows : 18 • Northwesterly 203 . 67 feet of Tract 14, Beverly Garden Tracts Division Number 1 , less the North- 19 easterly 10 feet lying parallel to Dorn A.7enue, now zoned R-4 , Multiple Family High Density Resi- 20 dence is rezoned and is zoned C-1, General Commer- cial . 21 Section 3 : That the official man shall, upon the 22 passage of this Ordinance, be amended by the City Clerk, as hereinabove provided, and henceforth 23 said property shall be used in accordance with the zone in which the same is now established, as 24 provided by Everett Municipal Code (Ordinance No. 3572) as amended. 25 Section 4 : The City Clerk is hereby instructed to 26 file the duly certified copy of this Ordinance with the County Auditor of Snohomish County, Washington. 27 28 29 30 ATTEST : CITY OF EVERETT CLe cr 31 CITY CLE,,, 32 Passed: Valid.: / -•nci-7‘,„, Published: -� - 7,6
