ORDINANCE NO. (..)/_ 75/ An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 156-71, 254-73 and • 276-73 authorizing construction of an Operation Support Facility for the City of Everett, declaring the Total estimated cost, creating a special fund account and authorizing issuance of interim warrants for the financing of said facility and declaring an emergency to exist. 1 2 WHEREAS, the City Council in Ordinance No. 156-71, 254-73 and 276-73 3 authorized the City of Everett to construct an Operation Support (Service) 4 Facility to be built at the site of the present Water Department shops , 5 WHEREAS , the City of Everett has constructed said facility at an 6 estimated cost of $1,423,035.59 and authorized Councilmatic Bonds based on 7 the existing credit of the City , 8 WHEREAS , the City Council desires to extend the time limits set in 9 Ordinance No. 156-71 for the issuance of interim warrants against the Operation 10 Support Facility Account, 11 NOW, THEREFORE , the City of Everett does ordain as follows: 12 Section 1: The total estimated cost of said facility including land 13 acquisition, architect fees , facility construction, perimeter street improve- 14 ments and interim interest payments is $1,423,035.59. 15 Section 2: Pending the issuance of the bonds to be authorized by 16 the City Council, interim warrants may be issued against the Operation 17 Support Facility Account to bear interest at no more than six (6) percent 18 to be payable out of the proceeds of the sale of bonds until June 30, 1974. 19 20 Section 3: That an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this 21 ordinance shall take effect upon it becoming valid. 22 / �_--- 23 '/ay-ori 24 `• r Rc ��m 25 Attest. 26 / ��✓ City Cl 27 Passed: '-2 7 --74t 28 29 Valid: 3 Z J - 7`/ 30 Published: 4- " 31
