AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the 1 City of Everett, as provided by Everett City Code 15. 04. 040 (Ordinance No. 3572) entitled: 2 "An Ordinance regulating and restricting the location and use of buildings and land within 3 the City of Everett; limiting the height of buildings; prescribing building line and size of 4 yard and other open spaces; providing for the division of the City into use zones; creating a 5 Board of Adjustment; and providing for penalties for violation of the Ordinance,. and declaring 6 an emergency to exist. 7 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett, upon the recommendation 8 of the Planning Commission of the City of Everett, has determined that the 9 area hereinafter described should be rezoned and zoned B-2 Community 10 Shopping Zone, and such zoning will be in harmony with the Comprehensive 11 Plan of Land Use for the City of Everett. 12 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: 13 Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Everett does hereby concur 14 in the findings of the Planning Commission and does hereby find that the 15 change hereinafter set forth is in the best interest of the City of Everett, 16 and will not be in conflict with the Comprehensive Plan of Land Use of the 17 City of Everett. 18 Section 2: That the zone map of the City of Everett, as established by 19 Everett City Code 15. 04. 040 (Ordinance No. 3572, Section 4) is hereby 20 amended as follows: 21 Lots 2-10 and 24-32, Block 15 Plat of South Park Addition 22 be zoned from R-4 Multiple Family High Density Residence Zone to B-2 23 Community Shopping Zone. 24 Section 3: That the official zone map shall, upon the passage of this 25 Ordinance, be amended by the City Clerk, as hereinabove provided, and 26 henceforth said property shall be used in accordance with the zone in which 27 the same is now established, as provided by Everett City Code 15. 04. 040 28 (Ordinance 3572) as amended. 29 30 31 32
