ORDINANCE No. 0.70 — (o, <br /> AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE CLASSIFICATION AND RATE OF <br /> PAY FOR RATED DAY LABORERS EMPLOYED BY THE CITY OF EVERETT. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1. Effective April 1, 1969, day laborers employed by the <br /> City oferett in any Department of the City may be rated by their <br /> qualifications, experience, and background, and type and nature of duties <br /> to be performed and compensated a minimum of no less than $1. 65 per hour <br /> and a maximum of no more than $2. 75 per hour. Day laborers so rated <br /> and compensated shall be designated Rated Day Laborers. The Mayor, <br /> together with each Department Head employing day laborers, shall <br /> establish the rate of pay therefor within the minimum to maximum rate <br /> based on the qualifications, experience and background of each day <br /> laborer employee and the type and nature of the duties that the day <br /> laborer shall perform. <br /> Section 2.
