ORDINANCE NO. / /f {„ �3 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION OF: Portion of that alley in Blk 10, South Park Add. according to the Plat thereof recorded in Vol 7, Page 43, Records of Snohomish County, Wash. described as follows: Commencing at a point on the west line of said alley which is 10 ft. south- erly of the southeast corner of Lot 12, Blk 10, of said plat; thence southerly along the westerly line of said alley a dis- tance of 90 ft. to the northerly right-of-way line of SR 526, also known as 41st st. ; thence easterly along the northerly right-of-way line of SR 526 to the westerly line of that por- tion of vacated alley, as vacated under City of Everett Ordinance No. 4081; thence northerly along said westerly line to a point which is at right angles to the point of beginning; thence westerly in a straight line to the point of beginning. WHEREAS, the owners of more than two-thirds of the private property abutting upon the streets and alleys above described have duly filed a petition with the City Council of the City of Everett praying for vacation of said streets and alleys; and, WHEREAS, said City Council of the City of Everett did by res- olution duly adopted, fix the '8th day of January, 1969, at 10:00 a.m. of said day for the hearing and determination of said petition; and, WHEREAS, due and legal notice of the time and place of said hearing and the determination of said petition has been given by the City Clerk in the manner prescribed by law; and, WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for hearing, objections to the vacating of the herin-described streets were heard and discussed; and, WHEREAS, it now appears to the City Council of the City of Everett that a portion of said streets and alleys petitioned to be vacated should be vacated, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: SECTION 1: That the street and alley of the City of Everett, County of Snohomish, State of Washington, described as follows, to wit: Portion of that alley in Blk 10, South Park Add. according to the Plat thereof recorded in Vol. 7, Page 43, Records of Snohomish County, Wash. described as follows: Commencing at a point on the west line of said alley which is 10 ft. southerly of the southeast corner of Lot 12, Blk 10, of said plat; thence southerly along the westerly line of said alley a distance of 90 ft. to the northerly right-of-way line of SR 526, also known as 41st St. ; thence easterly along the northerly right-of-way line of SR 526 to the westerly line of that portion of vacated alley, as vacated under City of Everett Ordinance No. 4081; thence northerly along said westerly line to a point which is at right angles to the point of beginning; thence westerly in a straight line to the point of beginning.
