4 <br /> 014CO <br /> V <br /> N 4 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. . <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the City of Everett, as <br /> provided by Ordinance No. 3572 of the City of Everett, also known as <br /> Everett City Code 15.04.040, entitled: "An Ordinance regulating and re- <br /> stricting the location and use of buildings and land within the City Everett; <br /> limiting the height of buildings; prescribing building lines and size of yard <br /> and other open spaces; providing for the division of the City into use zones; <br /> creating a Board of Adjustments; and providing for penalties for violation of <br /> the Ordinance;" and declaring an emergency to exist. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett, upon the recom- <br /> mendation of the Planning Coilmlission of the City of Everett, has determined <br /> the Comprehensive Plan of Land Use should be amended; that the area herein- <br /> after described should be rezoned and such rezoning will be in harmony with <br /> the Comprehensive Plan of Land Use for the City of Everett, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Everett does here- <br /> by concur in the findings of the Planning Commission and does hereby find that <br /> the changes hereinafter set forth are for the best interests of the City of <br /> Everett, and do hereby amend the Comprehensive Plan of Land Use of the City of <br /> Everett to provide for the changes as hereinafter set forth. <br /> Section 2: That the zone map of the City of Everett, as established <br /> by Section 4 of Ordinance No. 3572, also known as Everett City Code 15.04.040, <br /> is hereby amended as follows : <br /> The North 1/2 of the NE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 17, Township <br /> 29 North, Range 5 E.W.M. , LESS that portion thereof platted as <br /> Temwalt Terrace Division No. 1 (North of 14th Street and directly <br /> East of the Plat of Temwalt Terrace) . <br /> be rezoned from R-2, Single Family High Density Residence Zone, and R-4, <br /> Multiple Family High Density Residence Zone, to R-3, Multiple Family Low Density <br /> Residence Zone. <br /> SECTION 3: That the official Comprehensive Plan of Land Use and the <br /> zone map shall, upon the passage of this Ordinance, be amended by the City Clerk, <br /> as hereinabove provided, and henceforth said property shall be used in accord- <br /> ance with the zone in which the same is now established, as provided by Ordinance <br /> 3572 of the City of Everett, also known as Everett City Code 15.04.040, as <br /> amended. <br /> CI <br /> SECTION 4: The City Clerk is hereby instructed to file the duly <br /> certified copy of this Ordinance with the County Auditor of Snohomish County, <br /> Washington. <br /> SECTION 5: That an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this <br /> ordinance shall take effect upon its passage/and publication. <br /> /. :7 20 __..-'2,7 <br /> Attest: - <br /> /,)/' MAYOR <br /> B <br /> „(<-1720, „,--- / , ..,7,-,----c-,-,-- ; <br /> In <br /> City Clerk C <br /> f;s4,Cli <br /> Passeca d: _, `'1 ;., -- <br /> `p Published: \-\ A., \ • w — ( 4i <br /> �= <br /> 6 et <br /> :S.' <br /> r � OFFICIAL RECO <br /> >�� ► v 239 PACE 678 <br /> ..- 4, <br />
