sEpo 1 ORDINANCE NO. LI 0 2 8 AN ORDINANCE authorizing the Mayor and the City Clerk 4 of the City of Everett to execute a contract for the purchase of certain lands from Robert A. Houck and Edna T. Houck and for the 6 execution of a contract with Fircrest Sewer District of Snohomish County, Washington, to construct sewage treatment facilities on said land, and the transfer thereof to the City of Everett and 6 operation by the City of Everett for the purpose of accepting 7 sewage from the Fircrest Sewer District . 8 WHEREAS, the Commissioners of the City of Everett have determined that it is for the best interests of the City that the City acquire, pursuant to contract, certain lands from Robert A. 9 `' Houck and Edna T. Houck, and enter into a contract with the Fir- 10 crest Sewer District of Snohomish County, Washington, providing for the construction of sewage treatment facilities by the District, 11 and transfer thereof by the District to the City of Everett of such facilities for operation thereof by the City for the purpose 12 of accepting and treating sewage developed by the District, and, 13 WHEREAS, an emergency is hereby declared to exist; 14 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: 15 ''! Section 1: That an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and 16 publication. 171 Section 2: That the Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of Everett are hereby authorized to execute a real estate 18 contract with Robert A. Houck and Edna T. Houck for purchase of property described in real estate contract on file with the City 19 Clerk, all for the sum of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00), said land being described as follows : 201 Parcel A: That portion of the W 25 acres of the 21 r-1/2 of the W 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of Sec . 22, Twp 2 N.R.5 E.W.M., lying N of Lowell to Larimers 22 Corner road. 23 Parcel B: That portion of the E 15 acres of the W 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of Sec . 22, Twp 28, N.R.5 E .W.M. , lying N of Lowell to Larimers Corner road. Parcel C: Beginning at the NE corner of Sec . 22, 25 =` Twp . X28, N.R. 5 E.W.M. ; thence S 2640 ft. on Section line to East quarter corner of Sec. 22; 261 thence W S boundary of NE 1/4 of NE 1/4 of Sec . 22 for 2045 ft. to the NW corner of the 27 tract of land described in deed to Robert A. Houck and Edna T.
