These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions. or additions, may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the 2006 International Building Code, as amended by the State of Washington and adopted by the City of Everett and the Washington State Energy Code, 2006 Edition, unless stated otherwise. In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building Division with two complete new sets of drawings reflecting the corrections requested. IBC 1109.2.2 requires an ambulatory -accessible water closet in addition to the wheelchair accessible compartment in both of the men's and women's restrooms. 2. The unisex shower must comply with the ANSI A117.1, Chapter 608 requirements for either a transfer or roll -in type compartment. Please detail accordingly. 3. ANSI A117.1, 404.2.3 requires an 18" wheelchair maneuverability clearance between the wall and the latch side of the door out of the women's restroom. 4. ANSI A117.1, 604.6 requires flush controls to be located on the open side of the wheelchair accessible water closets. 5. Rear wall water closet grab bars must comply with the'siie and location requirements of ANSI A117.1, 604.5.2. 6. At least one of the microwave ovens must comply with the reach requirements of ANSI A117.1, 308 & 804.6.2. 7. IBC 602.3 requires the exterior walls for Type III structures to be of noncombustible materials or fire -retardant treated wood. Please revise new exterior wall details. Please prepare a response letter showing where each item in this correction letter is addressed on the plan set.
