Correct
fusible link selection Is an essential element in the design
of any restaurant fire suppression system. After
performing a temperature study to determine the
maximum ambient temperature at the fusible link
location, the correct fusible link should be selected from
the following chart:
Fusible Link
Model Number
Max. Buckeye Shielded Cable is 1116"
(0.16 cm) stainless steel cable encased in a protective,
flexible conduit_ See Figure 2-14.
Buckeye Shielded Cable requires no conduit or comer
pulleys, as the name implies, provided it is installed in
accordance with the guidelines set forth in this manual.
Model BFRSC-100 comes with 100 feet (30.5 m) of
I
lexible conduit with 200 feet (61 m) of 1116" (0.16 cm)
stainless steel cable inside iL
muc
s+nein:n
cafltc
H6'(D.1fi vn}
8<AV2E3S 97cEi
Figure 2.14,
Model BFRSC-100,
Butzkaye Shielded Cable
(ILEX 6885 ULG-EX 6885
January t, 20,11
