Regulatory and Water Quality Assessment TM, draft and final <br /> Task 105 - Unit Process Performance Review <br /> Objective: Review unit process performance to understand needs for process improvements. <br /> Activities/Approach: This task includes the following activities: <br /> Compare historical water quality and productivity performance with State and Partnership for Safe <br /> Water Guidelines. <br /> Establish finished water quality and productivity goals. <br /> Evaluate performance of existing unit processes with respect to finished water quality and <br /> productivity goals. <br /> Establish process improvements, if any, required to improve unit process performance to meet <br /> current finished water quality and productivity goals. <br /> Summarize water quality and productivity data review, goals, and any identified improvement needs <br /> in a draft Unit Process Performance TM submitted to the City. <br /> Revise based on City comments, and submit the final Unit Process Performance TM. <br /> Task Assumptions <br /> Evaluation will be performed as a desktop study. No testing(bench-, pilot-, or full-scale) is included <br /> in the current scope of work. <br /> Data provided by the City will be in an electronic format that capable of being directly entered in <br /> Microsoft Excel (e.g. .csv, .xls, .xlsx, or tab-delimited text files) <br /> Time will be reserved during the Regulatory and Water Quality Workshop (Task 104)for the City to <br /> provide input on the performance of existing unit processes. <br /> Unit Process Performance TM is anticipated to be approximately 20 pages, excluding appendices. <br /> Everett Responsibilities <br /> Provide plant operating data, for a period of 20 years. <br /> Provide relevant information related to current operations and performance of existing unit <br /> processes. <br /> Meetings <br /> Discussion of Task 105 needs included in Task 101 workshop. <br /> Work Products <br /> Unit Process Performance TM, draft and final. <br /> Task 106 - Hydraulic Profile Assessment <br /> Objective: Understand hydraulic limitations of the plant and identify solutions. <br /> Activities/Approach: This task includes the following activities: <br /> Update the plant hydraulic model and profile that was documented in the 2002 test plan. <br /> Identify hydraulic bottlenecks that may impact or limit implementation of recommended <br /> improvements. <br /> Develop and submit a draft Hydraulic Profile Assessment TM for City review. <br /> Revise based on City comments, and submit a final Hydraulic Profile Assessment TM. <br /> Page 20 <br /> (Form Approved by City Attorney's Office November 1,2009) <br />
