SUBSTATIONS 11-1 AND 11-2 SECTION 26 11 16
PROJECT#22349762 SECONDARY UNIT SUBSTATIONS
BOEING - EVERETT SITE SERVICES
be made with ring type nylon insulated plated copper lugs, crimped with manufacturer's
recommended tool. Terminal blocks shall be Marathon or approved equal as follows:
1. Current Circuits: No. 1604SC.
2. Other Terminations: No's. 1604, 1606, or 1612.
2.05 IDENTIFICATION AND NAMEPLATES
A. Nameplates shall be satin finish white phenolic with black core and beveled edges, 1/16
inch thick; letters shall be at least 1/4 inch high. Nameplates shall be attached with
corrosion resistant screws to each unit door.
B. Each circuit breaker and controller unit shall have a nameplate engraved wording
consistent with feeder names indicated on Seller's wiring and layout drawings.
C. Unit Substation master nameplate shall be 4" by 20" with 1" letters. Identify substation
number and vault number on center section of transformer.
D. All relays, control switches, control circuit fuses, auxiliary power circuit breakers shall be
identified by nameplates mounted above each device. Door mounted devices shall be
labeled front and rear and those installed on the rear of the door may be attached with
adhesives.
2.06 POWER MONITORING AND ANNUNCIATION SYSTEM
A. Power Monitoring System: Provide Allen-Bradley, Bulletin 5000 Power Monitor part# PN
1426-M5-E which will be integral with switchgear for main breaker. Power monitor shall
be prewired to monitor voltage and current. The USB connector must be safely
accessible to the user either by placement of the Power Monitor or a remote USB
connection to the front of the substation enclosure door.
B. Instrument Transformers:
1. See attached drawing for required number of current transformers (CT) and ratings
- for power monitoring system and motor relay protection system. All CTs shall
accurately transform harmonic currents within the accuracy range of the metering
device.
2. Each main switch metering compartment shall be equipped with line side voltage
taps feeding fused 2400V:120V potential transformers in a wye-wye configuration.
C. Test Switches: Provide new switches for each main switch, wired to provide the
associated three phase plus neutral voltages (from the PT's), and three phase and
neutral currents (from the CTs).
D. In main metering cubicle provide the following:
1. Analog current meter with 5 position current selector switch. Switch shall have A-
phase, B-phase, C-phase, Neutral, and Off positions.
2. Analog voltage meter with 7 position voltage selector switch. Switch shall have A-
phase, B-phase, C-phase, A to B, B to C, C to A, and Off positions.
3. Provide two external test ports where one is for voltage and one is for current.
E. In feeder breaker cubicle provide:
26 11 16- 12
(07/15/18)
