UL 1053 UL Standard for Safety Ground-Fault Sensing and Relaying <br /> Equipment <br /> 23. UL 1562 UL Standard for Safety Transformers, Distribution, Dry-Type- <br /> over 600 Volts <br /> 1.03 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br /> A. Material for new equipment and parts used for these substations shall be standard <br /> products currently manufactured for a minimum of 2 years. No prototype components or <br /> assemblies shall be furnished unless specifically identified as such in the bid and <br /> approved in writing by Boeing. <br /> B. Manufacturer's Quality Assurance Program: Manufacturer shall have standardized <br /> continuously monitored process in place to assure outside suppliers and in-house work <br /> produces equipment meeting applicable industry standards and codes for the installation <br /> at Boeing Everett Site. <br /> C. Field Assembly and Tests: <br /> 1. Tests shall be in accordance with the latest applicable standards as recommended by <br /> ANSI, NEMA, and IEEE. Tests shall include all additional tests identified in this <br /> specification. <br /> D. Submittals Required With Bid For Review By Boeing Engineer: Submit 3 copies of the <br /> following: <br /> 1. Submit a guaranteed schedule, assuming an order will be placed in 3 weeks from the <br /> date the bid is due. Include on the schedule the drawing approval process, material <br /> purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, factory testing, and shipping. <br /> 2. Response to the technical specifications shall be documented by a paragraph by <br /> paragraph summarized response, utilizing the following codes, with complete <br /> explanation of any items marked other than "compliance". <br /> a. Comply—C. <br /> b. Comply with a clarification note added-CC. <br /> c. Deviates—D. <br /> d. Alternate—A. <br /> e. Reject—R. <br /> f. Not Applicable—NA <br /> 3. Data and Drawings: <br /> a. Provide manufacturer's company name, product line, model number (if applicable) <br /> for each piece of major equipment, and major components of assemblies. Provide <br /> the third party listing status of all equipment, and an explanation of how the <br /> supplier plans to comply with AHJ approval requirements for non-listed equipment. <br /> b.
