Room 106 on Sheet Al-1 shall provide maneuvering clearance for the pull side of the door <br /> per ICC A117.1-09 Section 404.2.3.2. It appears the clearance is intended to satisfy the <br /> requirements shown in Figure 404.2.3.2(f). The minimum clearances shall be specified on <br /> the plans. If Door 106 includes a closer, the clearance perpendicular to the wall shall be <br /> increased to 54 inches. See IBC Section 1101.2. <br /> 2. Door 104 on Plan 1/A1-1 shall provide a minimum latch clearance width of 12 for the pull <br /> side of the door if a closer is provided. See ICC A117.1-09 Section 404.2.3.2 and Figures <br /> 404.2.3.2(b) and 404.2.3.2(e). The minimum clearance shall be specified on the plan. The <br /> adjacent fire extinguisher cabinet (i.e., identified as"FEC"on the plans) shall not protrude <br /> into the clearance space. See IBC Section 1101.2. <br /> 3. Plan 1/A1-1 includes queue line barriers. The queue lines shall be accessible per IBC <br /> Section 1109.12.5. The lines shall comply with ICC A117.1-09 Section 403.5.1 and Figure <br /> 403.5.1. The clear width at the 180-degree turns, including the exit from the queue line to <br /> the teller window aisle, shall be a minimum of 60-inches wide. The turning width may be <br /> reduced to 48 inches where the adjacent widths of the queue lines and aisle are increased <br /> to 42 inches. See IBC Section 1101.2. <br /> This review has been performed for general compliance with the building codes as adopted and <br /> amended by the state of Washington and the city of Everett. Corrections and comments made <br /> during the review process do not relieve the project from compliance with code and permit <br /> requirements.
