<br /> An ORDINANCE amending Everett City Code Section 15,04. 110 dealing
<br /> with zoning and defining R-4 Multiple :=amily High Density Residence Zone.
<br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Everett neld a
<br /> `�, public hearing on the // day of J L y ,1966, and made recommendations
<br /> 1 to the City Council proposing certain changes of the Zoning Ordinance, and
<br /> ,- ,z, ' WHEREAS, the Commissioners of the City of Everett approved said
<br /> recommendations,
<br /> '' NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN:
<br /> }. Section 1 : That Everett City Code Section 15.04.110 be and is
<br /> hereby amended to read as follows :
<br /> 15.04. 110 P-4, MULTIPLE FAMILY HIGH DENSITY RESIDENCE ZONE

<br /> A. DECLARATION OF PURPOSE :
<br /> The purpose and function of the R-4 Zone is to provide for and
<br /> protect certain area of the City for multiple-family high
<br /> density residential uses.

<br /> B. PERMITTED USES:
<br /> 1 . R-3 Permitted Uses
<br /> . �' r ' 2. A artments (multiple-family dwellin
<br /> . ` =p "�. f , x 3. Private clubs and lodges. (Except those carried on as
<br /> _'` a commercial enterprise. )
<br /> * 1 4.4 Professional offices for service only.
<br /> y 5. Music, art and dance studios for group instruction.
<br /> 6. Commercial parking with no sales or service except that
<br /> sales and service shall be permitted in connection with
<br /> parking on any lot any portion of which is within 120
<br /> feet of a B-3 Zone.
<br /> 7. Hotels, motels and complexes when the land area utilized
<br /> has a minimum of 20,000 square feet.
<br /> 8. Mortuaries and funeral parlors .
<br /> , t 9. Motels and motel complexes may include certain accessory
<br /> buildings for uses primarily designed for the convenience
<br /> and enjoyment of the transient guests. Such uses may
<br /> -`` include restaurants , cocktail lounges , gift shops , smoke
<br /> shops , dancing, entertainment and meeting hall facilities ,
<br /> nurseries for the care of children, and other similar uses
<br /> that normally would be included in a motel complex. All
<br /> such accessory buildings shall be an integral part of the
<br /> complex and shall be oriented away from the abutting street . " t '
