These <br /> comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other <br /> departments Such as Utilities, Planning or Fire. All references refer to the 2015 International Building <br /> Code (IBC), 2015 International Residential Code (IRC), as amended by the State of Washington <br /> and/or Washington State Energy Code (WSEC) 2015 Edition, as adopted by the City of Everett, <br /> unless stated otherwise. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue,it will be necessary to provide <br /> the Building Division with two new complete sets of drawings reflecting the corrections <br /> requested. <br /> Construction documents shall be of sufficient clarity to indicate the location, nature <br /> and extent of the work proposed and show in detail that it will conform to the <br /> provisions of the building code and relevant laws,ordinances, rules and regulations. <br /> Below grade walls in conditioned spaces are required to be insulated to minimum R-21 <br /> when insulated on the interior, or R-10 rigid insulation on the exterior. Please provide a <br /> cross section of the below grade wails showing the minimum required insulation/ <br /> fireblocking and framing for the installation of the insulation. <br /> 2. Slab-on-grade in conditioned space is required to be insulated with minimum R-10 rigid <br /> 0.0n with a thermal break at the perimeter of the slab-on-grade.Provide detail at the <br /> perimeter of the structure as wellas the wall between the garage and the Living Area <br /> 3.
