Although the fo]lowing issues have been identified, this is not a <br />complete plan review and a new submittal mecting the requirements of the attached City of Everett Construction <br />Pcrmit Submittal New Commercial checklisL The permit application cannot be reviewed until the 1'ollowing <br />issues are included in thc submittal. Pleasc provide a response letter, which shows where each item in this <br />incompletc submiltal letter is addresscd on thc revised drawings. <br />Additionally, the contractor's licensc number indicated on the permit application (CHERBMG976BP) is <br />inactive. Plcase advise us of a current contnctor's license number as part of the response to this letter. <br />13uilding Permit Plan Review: <br />l. A code analysis is rcquircd on the drawings, meeting the requirements of the 2006 Intemational <br />13uilding Code, along with the other applicable codes listed at the bottom of t:�is letter. The specific <br />building occupancies (combustible or non-combuslible storage) and the cortesponding arcas and <br />occupant loads should also bc shown on the drnwings. <br />2. Architectural and structural revisions should Ue clearly identified from what will remain or be <br />demolished, per IBC Section 105.1. The gmphics should be reviscd on the plans so that exis:ing walls <br />and lloors are shown as light doublc line, and ncw interior, exterior, and infill walls and floors are <br />darkcned. All new �valls should be dimensior.ed Gom column lin:,s at 1/8"=1'-0" scale, per lhe City of <br />Isvcrctt chccklist. <br />3. Based on lhe occupant load in the main chapel area, idcntificd as 9G8 seats, all the requirements of �C <br />Section 1025, Assembly, should be graphically designated and defined on the drawings for exits, aisles <br />and means of egress, wilh or without smoke-protcctcd seatinF;. Other requirements of the code for <br />strucWral analysis should be included with the submittal, per 1BC Chapter 1G. <br />4. Under Washington law, an assembly building of this size is required to be sealed by a registered <br />architect, who becomes the architect of record per IBC 10G3.4.1. The architect of rewrd i� responsible <br />for the review and coordination of all submittal documents prepared by others for compatibility of <br />design with thc building, through either `personal supervision' through `direction and control' per RCW <br />18.08.440(4) or by lhe arcl�itcct's `revie�v [o}] the docmnents' per NAC 308-12-081.
