I <br /> I1 Section 1-03, Award and Execution of Contract <br /> 2 January 2, 2018 <br /> I3 1-03.3 Execution of Contract <br /> 4 The first paragraph is revised to read: <br /> I 5 <br /> 6 Within 20 calendar days after the Award date, the successful Bidder shall return the signed <br /> 7 Contracting Agency-prepared Contract, an insurance certification as required by Section 1- <br /> 111 8 07.18, a satisfactory bond as required by law and Section 1-03.4, the Transfer of Coverage <br /> 9 form for the Construction Stormwater General Permit with sections I, Ill, and VIII completed <br /> 10 when provided, and shall be registered as a contractor in the state of Washington. <br /> 11 <br /> I12 1-03.5 Failure to Execute Contract <br /> 13 The first sentence is revised to read: <br /> 14 <br /> 15 Failure to return the insurance certification and bond with the signed Contract as required in <br /> 16 Section 1-03.3, or failure to provide Disadvantaged, Minority or Women's Business <br /> 17 Enterprise information if required in the Contract, or failure or refusal to sign the Contract, <br /> I 18 or failure to register as a contractor in the state of Washington, or failure to return the <br /> 19 completed Transfer of Coverage for the Construction Stormwater General Permit to the <br /> 20 Contracting Agency when provided shall result in forfeiture of the proposal bond or deposit <br /> 21 of this Bidder. <br /> 22 <br /> 23 Section 1-05, Control of Work <br /> 24 August 6, 2018 <br /> I25 1-05.5 Vacant <br /> 26 This section, including title, is revised to read: <br /> 27 <br /> I 28 1-05.5 Tolerances <br /> 29 Geometrical tolerances shall be measured from the points, lines, and surfaces defined in <br /> I 30 Contract documents. <br /> 31 <br /> 32 A plus (+) tolerance increases the amount or dimension to which it applies, or raises a <br /> 33 deviation from level. A minus (-) tolerance decreases the amount or dimension to which it <br /> I34 applies, or lowers a deviation from level. Where only one signed tolerance is specified (+ or <br /> 35 -), there is no specified tolerance in the opposing direction. <br /> 36 <br /> I 37 Tolerances shall not be cumulative. The most restrictive tolerance shall control. <br /> 38 <br /> 39 Tolerances shall not extend the Work beyond the Right of Way or other legal boundaries <br /> I 40 identified in the Contract documents. If application of tolerances causes the extension of <br /> 41 the Work beyond the Right of Way or legal boundaries, the tolerance shall be reduced for <br /> 42 that specific instance. <br /> 43 <br /> 1 44 Tolerances shall not violate other Contract requirements. If application of tolerances causes <br /> 45 the Work to violate other Contract requirements, the tolerance shall be reduced for that <br /> 46 specific instance.
