I <br /> I1 Section 9-02, Bituminous Materials <br /> 2 January 7, 2019 <br /> I3 9-02.1 Asphalt Material, General <br /> 4 The second paragraph is revised to read: <br /> I 5 <br /> 6 The Asphalt Supplier of Performance Graded (PG) asphalt binder and emulsified asphalt <br /> 7 shall have a Quality Control Plan (QCP) in accordance with WSDOT QC 2 "Standard <br /> I <br /> 8 <br /> 9 Practice for Asphalt Suppliers That Certify Performance Graded and Emulsified Asphalts". <br /> The Asphalt Supplier's QCP shall be submitted and receive the acceptance of the WSDOT <br /> 10 State Materials Laboratory. Once accepted, any change to the QCP will require a new QCP <br /> 11 to be submitted for acceptance. The Asphalt Supplier of PG asphalt binder and emulsified <br /> I 12 asphalt shall certify through the Bill of Lading that the PG asphalt binder or emulsified <br /> 13 asphalt meets the Specification requirements of the Contract. <br /> 14 <br /> I 15 9-02.1(4) Performance Graded Asphalt Binder (PGAB) <br /> 16 This section's title is revised to read: <br /> 17 <br /> I 18 Performance Graded (PG) Asphalt Binder <br /> 19 <br /> 20 The first paragraph is revised to read: <br /> I 21 , <br /> 22 PG asphalt binder meeting the requirements of AASHTO M 332 Table 1 of the grades <br /> 23 specified in the Contract shall be used in the production of HMA.
