When that occurs, <br /> 7 the corresponding payment provision in Section 8-01.5(2) is not deleted and the Work <br /> 8 under that item will be paid as specified. <br /> 9 <br /> 10 8-01.5(4) Items not included with Lump Sum Erosion Control and Water <br /> 11 Pollution Prevention <br /> 12 Payment will be made for the following Bid item when it is included in the Proposal: <br /> 13 <br /> 14 "High Visibility Fence", per linear foot. <br /> 15 <br /> 16 8-02.AP8 <br /> 17 Section 8-02, Roadside Restoration <br /> 18 April 1, 2019 <br /> 19 This section, including all subsections, is revised to read: <br /> 20 <br /> 21 8-02.1 Description <br /> 22 This Work consists of preserving, maintaining, establishing and augmenting vegetation on <br /> 23 the roadsides and within mitigation or sundry site areas. It includes vegetation <br /> 24 preservation, weed and pest control, furnishing and placing topsoil, compost, and soil 111 <br /> 25 amendments, and furnishing and planting seed, sod and plants of all forms and container <br /> 26 types. It includes performing plant establishment activities and soil bioengineering. Work <br /> 27 shall be performed in accordance with these Specifications and as shown in the Plans or <br /> 28 as designated by the Engineer. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 Trees, whips, shrubs, ground covers, cuttings, live stakes, live poles, live branches, <br /> 31 rhizomes, tubers, rootstock, and seedlings will hereinafter be referred to collectively as <br /> 32 "plants" or"plant material". Grass, wildflowers, and other plant materials installed in seed <br /> 33 form will hereinafter be referred to collectively as "seed". <br /> 34 <br /> 35 8-02.2 Materials <br /> 36 Materials shall meet the requirements of the following sections: <br /> 37 <br /> 38 Erosion Control and Roadside Planting 9-14 <br /> 39 Water 9-25.2 <br /> 40 <br /> 41 Botanical identification and nomenclature of plant materials shall be based on descriptions <br /> 42 by Hitchcock and Cronquist in "Flora of the Pacific Northwest".
