III 35 The Contractor shall notify the Engineer within 5 days in advance of any seeding 36 operation and shall not begin the Work until areas prepared or designated for 37 seeding have been accepted. Following the Engineer's acceptance, seeding of 38 the accepted ground surfaces shall begin immediately. 39 40 Seeding shall not be done during windy weather or when the ground is frozen, 111 41 or excessively wet. 42 43 When seeding by hand, the seed shall be incorporated into the top '/ inch of soil 44 by hand raking or other method that is allowed by the Engineer.
