1 <br /> 1 <br /> 2 1-02.15 Pre Award Information <br /> 3 (August 14, 2013 APWA GSP) <br /> 4 <br /> 5 Revise this section to read: <br /> 6 <br /> 7 Before awarding any contract, the Contracting Agency may require one or more of these items or <br /> 8 actions of the apparent lowest responsible bidder: <br /> 9 1. A complete statement of the origin, composition, and manufacture of any or all materials to <br /> 10 be used, <br /> 11 2. Samples of these materials for quality and fitness tests, <br /> 12 3. A progress schedule (in a form the Contracting Agency requires) showing the order of and <br /> 13 time required for the various phases of the work, , <br /> 14 4. Any other information or action taken that is deemed necessary to ensure that the bidder is <br /> 19 the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> 20 <br /> 21 <br /> 22 <br /> 23 1-03 AWARD AND EXECUTION OF CONTRACT <br /> 24 <br /> 25 1-03.1 Consideration of Bids ' <br /> 26 (January 23, 2006 APWA GSP) <br /> 27 <br /> 28 Revise the first paragraph to read: <br /> 29 <br /> 30 After opening and reading proposals, the Contracting Agency will check them for correctness of <br /> 31 extensions of the prices per unit and the total price. If a discrepancy exists between the price per <br /> 32 unit and the extended amount of any bid item, the price per unit will control. If a minimum bid <br /> 33 amount has been established for any item and the bidder's unit or lump sum price is less than the <br /> 34 minimum specified amount, the Contracting Agency will unilaterally revise the unit or lump sum <br /> 35 price, to the minimum specified amount and recalculate the extension.
