Scope of Work <br /> Continued <br /> • Perform site visits to confirm site conditions and adjacent infrastructure related to development <br /> applications. <br /> • Attend scheduled meetings and represent the Public Works department in pre-application meetings <br /> with developers to discuss stormwater standards and design elements as needed. <br /> • Provide to the City, within three weeks of receipt of plans and supporting documents, plan redlines <br /> and written review comments in a comment review matrix. <br /> • Advise CITY in writing at such time as plans are in compliance with those aspects of the <br /> development documents under review by the CONSULTANT. <br /> • Respond to comments and inquiries about plan review from City staff, developer's engineers, <br /> others as necessary, or others as directed by City staff. <br /> • Meet to discuss review comments with CITY representative and/or development proponents as <br /> necessary, or others as directed by City staff. <br /> • Provide feedback to CITY staff relative to adequacy, appropriateness, and thoroughness of CITY <br /> standard specifications and details. <br /> • Perform other incidental engineering services in connection with plan checking. <br /> • Meet with CITY staff periodically to evaluate process and performance of CONSULTANT. <br /> General Engineering Services (task order based) <br /> The Consultant will provide technical and professional support for each task order on the basis of the <br /> agreed-upon work plan, scope and schedule negotiated prior to the authorization of each task order. <br /> The consultant shall provide a variety of general engineering services, which may include, but not be <br /> limited to the following: <br /> • Prepare standardized forms and checklists for performing development review to be in compliance <br /> with City of Everett standards and codes. <br /> • Prepare planning level opinion of probable project costs for capital projects in the City of Everett. <br /> • Complete preliminary and final design for small public works surface water projects. Examples <br /> include pipeline upgrades, pump station improvements, runoff treatment and flow control facilities, <br /> green stormwater infrastructure, emergency erosion stabilization repairs, drainage ditch restoration, <br /> culvert upgrades, etc. <br /> • Hydrologic and Hydraulic modeling for assessment of flooding issues and capacity analysis <br /> including technical memos for documentation. <br /> • Provide technical review of complex stormwater modeling, geotechnical or hydrogeologic <br /> assessments, or other project elements prepared by professionals for development or internal <br /> projects. Technical reviews will be performed by professionals with knowledge and experience <br /> appropriate to peer review for the material being reviewed. <br /> • Land Survey Engineering including topographic survey and base mapping, as-built surveys, <br /> easement and property boundary support, GIS mapping of utilities infrastructure. <br /> • Landscape Architecture including design and preparation of landscape plans for stormwater <br /> facilities, stream and wetland restoration <br /> • Arborist services including tree assessment reports, tree management plans, and tree <br /> maintenance recommendation <br /> • Geotechnical Engineering including soil tests, borings, excavating test pits, slope stability analysis, <br /> and reports. <br /> • Environmental Science services including studies of sensitive areas and preparation of <br /> documents, reports, and studies required by the permitting agencies. <br /> Other services as directed <br /> City of Everett —Stormwater Plan Review Support 2 <br /> otak <br />
