<br /> commodity is introduced into intrastate commerce: Provided, That the phrase
<br /> "introduced into intrastate commerce" as used in this paragraph shall be
<br /> construed to define the time and the place at which the first sale and de-
<br /> livery of a package is made within the State, the delivery being made either
<br /> (a) directly to the purchaser or to his agent, or (b) to a common carrier.
<br /> for shipment to the purchaser, and this paragraph shall be construed as requiring
<br /> that, so long as a shipment, delivery, or lot of packages of a particular commod-
<br /> ity remains in the possession or under the control of the packager or the
<br /> person who introduces the package into intrastate commerce, exposure varia-
<br /> tions shall not be permitted.
<br /> G.3. MAGNITUDE OF PERMITTED VARIATIONS. The magnitude of variations
<br /> permitted under paragraphs G.1., G.1.1., G.1.2., and G.2. of this regulation
<br /> shall, in the case of any shipment, delivery, or lot, be determined by the
<br /> facts in the individual case.
<br /> SECTION 23. SALE BY NET WEIGHT. The word ',weight" as used in this
<br /> Ordinance in connection with any commodity shall mean net weight. Whenever
<br /> any commodity is sold on the basis of weight, the net weight of the com-
<br /> modity shall be employed, and all contracts concerning commodities shall be
<br /> so construed.
<br /> Section 24. MISREPRESENTATION OF PRICE. Whenever any commodity
<br /> or service is sold, or is offered, exposed, or advertised for sale, by weight,
<br /> measure, or count, the price shall not be misrepresented, nor shall the price
<br /> be represented in any manner calculated or tending to mislead or deceive an
<br /> actual or prospective purchaser. Whenever an advertised, posted, or labeled
<br /> price per unit of weight, measure, or count includes a fraction of a cent,
<br /> all elements of the fraction shall be prominently displayed and the numeral
<br /> or numerals expressing the fraction shall be immediately adjacent to, of the
<br /> same general design and style as, and at least one-half the height and width
<br /> of the numerals representing the whole cents.
<br /> SECTION 25. MEAT, POULTRY, AND SEA FOOD. Except for immediate con-
<br /> sumption on the premises where sold, or as one of several elements compris-
<br /> ing a ready-to-eat meal sold, as a unit, for consumption elsewhere than on
<br /> the premises where sold, all meat, meat products, poultry (whole or parts) ,
<br /> and all sea food except shellfish, offered or exposed for sale or sold as food,
<br /> shall be offered or exposed for sale and sold by weight. When meat, poultry,
<br /> or sea food is combined with or associated with some other food element or
<br /> elements to form either a distinctive food product or a food combination,
<br /> such food product or combination shall be offered or exposed for sale and
<br /> sold by weight, and the quantity representation may be the total weight of the pro-
<br /> duct or combination, and a quantity representation need not be made for each
<br /> of the several elements of the product or combination.
<br /> SECTION 26. BREAD. No person shall manufacture for sale, sell or
<br /> offer or expose for sale, any bread except in the following weights, which
<br /> shall be the net weights 12 hours after baking: "standard small loaf,' which
<br /> shall weigh not less than fifteen ounces and not more than seventeen ounces;
<br /> ' standard large loaf,' which shall weigh not less than twenty-two and one-
<br /> half ounces and not more than twenty-five and one-half ounces; or multiples
<br /> of the foregoing weights for the "standard small loaf' and 'standard large
<br /> loaf'''; PROVIDED, That variations at the rate of one ounce over and one ounce
<br /> under the foregoing, per "standard small loaf,' or one and one-half ounce
<br /> over or under per 'standard large loaf,' or any multiple of the foregoing
<br /> variations per each multiple type loaf, in the above specified unit weights
<br /> are permitted in individual loaves, but the average weight of not less than
<br /> twelve loaves of any one kind of loaf shall not be less than the weight here-
<br /> inabove prescribed. It shall be unlawful to sell or expose for sale bread in
