Street and all other Departments 'to,givervigilant aid to the Superintendent iii, ' • <br /> • <br /> the enforcement of this Ordinance, and to this end they shall report all <br /> violations thereof, which come to their knowledge, to the Office of the Super- <br /> intendent of the Water Department. <br /> Section 77: City Engineer's Office. The City Engineer's office <br /> shall, upon request of the Superintendent, perform all civil engineering and <br /> surveying required in the prosecution of any work to be done under direction <br /> of said Superintendent, and shall furnish him full reports of such engineering <br /> and surveying. Any expenses so incurred may be charged to and paid by the <br /> Water Department. <br /> The City Engineer's office shall, upon request of the Superintendent, <br /> perform all necessary field and office work in connection with any local <br /> improvement districts involving a water facility improvement. The costs so <br /> incurred may be charged to the local improvement district and distributed to <br /> the property benefited. <br /> Section 78: Fire Department - Estimated Consumption. The Chief <br /> of the Fire Department shall cause to be estimated and submitted to the <br /> Superintendent, on a monthly basis, a quantity listing of all unmetered water <br /> used by the Fire Department for purposes of fire prevention, control and/or <br /> suppression, drilling and training by fire companies and personnel and other <br /> quantities of unmetered water used by or within the Fire Department's operations. <br /> Section 79: Plumbing Inspector. It shall be the duty of the Plumbing <br /> Inspector to report in writing to the Superintendent, or his designated repre- <br /> sentative, all premises inspected by him where City water or sewer service <br /> is installed, or about to be installed, within forty-eight (48) hours after such <br /> inspection. This report shall contain the name of the owner, the official house <br /> number, the name of the street, the plumber or person performing the work <br /> and the classification of the service in conformity with the Water Department's <br /> classification list.
