• <br /> October 23, 2019 <br /> Reappointment of Catherine Thomas to Position 6, for a four-year term <br /> ending September 30, 2023. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Members <br /> Roberts and Moore who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Murphy stated that he toured the Everett Museum of History <br /> earlier this week. He also reported that he met with a 5th grade class at Garfield <br /> Elementary where the students are learning about leadership. <br /> Council Member Vogeli provided an update from the Historical Commission <br /> • meeting held Tuesday evening. She also encouraged domestic violence <br /> awareness. <br /> Council Vice President Tuohy provided a liaison report from the Silver Lake <br /> Neighborhood meeting held Tuesday. She also stated that Ryan Sass, public <br /> works director, provided an update that Hoyt Ave should reopen to traffic <br /> around November 4 and Rucker Ave from Everett Ave to Hewitt Ave could <br /> reopen to traffic around Thanksgiving. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher provided a liaison report from the Twin Creeks- <br /> Cascade View Neighborhood meeting held Monday evening. <br /> President Bader thanked Michael Trujillo for hosting a voter forum. He also stated <br /> he attended Carl Gipson's funeral service. President Bader thanked Mayor <br /> Franklin for the domestic violence proclamation.
