The Bayside <br />Park signage is 4 feet wide, 1.5 feet tall with a font size of 4 inches Lions Park's <br />monument sign dimensions are 7 feet by two feet with font size of 7 inches. The sign <br />at the plaza would likely be more in line with the size of the Bayside Park sign. The <br />longer the name, the smaller the font size which Paul also recommended for the <br />Historical Commission to consider when recommending to Council a name. Sarah liked <br />Paul's idea of forwarding our ideas as opposed to moving to a recommendation to the <br />Historical Commission. The Historical Commission will take park's recommendation <br />and also give the citizens another opportunity for final decision to take to Council at the <br />meeting in January. Art requested a motion. Dianne moved that we propose two <br />names to share with Historical Commission with "Theatre (spelled "re") Plaza" or <br />"Wetmore Plaza;" Sarah seconded the motion. It was noted that "Theatre Plaza" be <br />consistent in the spelling with the "Children's Theatre". Art moved we amend the <br />motion for spelling, Sarah seconded the motion. Motion passed. Art moved to bring <br />two names forward to the Historical Commission, Sarah seconded the motion. Motion <br />passed. Sarah expressed her appreciation of the Historical Commission's <br />participation. Paul stated the Historical Commission's next meeting is the 4th Tuesday, <br />January 22, 2013. Paul indicated that if you attend and mention another name, it is as <br />a citizen not a park board member. <br />3IPage <br />
