These improvements include sidewalk, curb, gutter, crosswalk markings, curb <br />ramps, flashing beacons, educational materials, and speed emphasis patrols. <br />The funding source for this project is: <br />Federal Funds - Safe Routes (TAP(SR)) $ 256,000.00 <br />RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br />Adopt an Ordinance creating a special improvement project entitled, "Hawthorne Elementary Safe <br />Routes to School," Fund 303, Program 097, to accumulate all costs for the improvement. <br />31 <br />
