ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled, <br />"Hawthorne Elementary Safe Routes to School," Fund 303, Program 097, <br />to accumulate all costs for the improvement. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Everett is committed to a planned traffic and safety improvement <br />program; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Everett has identified the need and obtained funds to construct certain <br />safety improvements in the vicinity of Hawthorne Elementary School; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY QF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br />Section is <br />A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 303, Program 097, entitled <br />"Hawthorne Elementary Safe Routes to School," to accumulate all costs for the improvement. <br />Section 2: <br />Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 303, <br />Program 097, for the improvement project. <br />Section 3: <br />Authorization is hereby granted for the "Public Works Director" or "City Engineer," under <br />direction of the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and <br />doing all things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. <br />Section 4: <br />The sum of $256,000.00 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303, Program 097, "Hawthorne <br />Elementary Safe Routes to School," as follows: <br />A. Estimated Project Costs <br />Design and Construction $ 256,000.00 <br />Total Estimated Cost S 256.000.00 <br />32 <br />
