9 <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled, <br />"2013 Federal Overlay Project," Fund 303, Program 098, to <br />accumulate all costs for the improvement. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Everett is committed to a planned street preservation program; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Everett has identified the need and obtained funds to construct certain <br />preservation improvements to three federal arterial street segments; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br />Section 1: <br />A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 303, Program 098, entitled "2013 <br />Federal Overlay Project," to accumulate all costs for the improvement. <br />Section 2: <br />Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 303, <br />Program 098, for the improvement project. <br />Section 3: <br />Authorization is hereby granted for the "Public Works Director" or "City Engineer," under <br />direction of the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and <br />doing all things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. <br />Section 4: <br />The sum of $1,433,423.00 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303, Program 098, "2013 Federal <br />Overlay Project," as follows: <br />A. Estimated Project Costs <br />Construction $ 1,433,423.00 <br />Total Estimated Cost $ 1,433,423.00 <br />B. Source of Funds <br />STP - Federal Funds <br />Fund 119 — Street Improvements <br />$ 676,000.00 <br />$ 757,423.00 <br />Total Estimated Funds $ 1.433.423.00 <br />36 <br />
