October 30, 2019 <br /> COUNCIL BILL 1910-53 <br /> FIRST READING: <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 3633-18, entitled <br /> "Everett Municipal Building Window Replacement Project" <br /> (formerly the Wall Street Building Window Replacement Project), <br /> Fund 342, Program 025, to accumulate the construction costs for <br /> the project in the amount of$535,000 <br /> Presented by Chris Lark, Facilities <br /> PUBLIC HEARING—2020 BUDGET: <br /> President Bader announced that this is the first of three public hearings regarding <br /> the 2020 budget, which will remain open until the conclusion of the third and final <br /> reading and budget hearing on November 13, 2019. <br /> COUNCIL BILL 1910-52 <br /> FIRST READING: <br /> AN ORDINANCE adopting the budget for the City of Everett for the year <br /> 2020 in the amount of$649,986,342 <br /> Susy Haugen, Finance, reviewed the public hearing process stating: 1) The first <br /> public hearing provides an opportunity for council members and the public to ask <br /> questions; 2) At the second public hearing, she will go over changes by fund, and <br /> City department heads will be available to answer operational questions, and 3) <br /> The third public hearing will provide another opportunity for questions and <br /> answers. She noted the budget hearings and ordinance readings and are being <br /> held concurrently as a package this year. <br /> President Bader opened the public hearing and invited public comment.
