Our employees are trained on HIPAA standards annually and have adopted the workplace practices described in <br /> question E above to ensure compliance to those standards. <br /> G. What is your availability for this project? Describe your process to ensure compliance with Washington State laws and regulations. <br /> We are in compliance with all Washington State laws and routinely review any changes relevant to public safety <br /> hiring process. For example, in 2018,Washington state passed SB 6214 requiring that certain public safety <br /> applicants be screened for PTSD prior to hiring. In response to this regulation,we crafted language that we <br /> added to our reports to specifically address this regulation. <br /> I. Describe any relevant software programs that your firm proposes utilizing for this contract. <br /> We use gmail for email communications, an online,encrypted and HIPAA compliant online data storage, BOX, <br /> as well as a HIPAA compliant online schedule program where candidates/agencies can make their appointments <br /> ACUITY. In the case of candidates utilizing our remote testing option,an encrypted and HIPAA compliant video- <br /> conferencing service,ZOOM, is used. <br /> J. Recent topics have included an overview of the psychological tests used and the impact of <br /> legalized marijuana on the public safety hiring process. Beginning in the Fall of 2019, LEPS-PSS will began <br /> offering traditional therapy services for first responders with a hope to offer EMDR therapy by 2020. <br /> 3.Communication and Customer Services <br /> A.
