GENERAL INFORMATION Project Title: Transit Bus Replacement Total Cost: $9,875,000.00 Total Eligible Cost: $1,634,000.00 Ecology Share: $1,634,000.00 Recipient Share: $0.00 The Effective Date of this Agreement is: 05/15/2019 The Expiration Date of this Agreement is no later than: 06/30/2023 Project Type: Volkswagen Project Short Description: Replace older fossil fueled transit buses with new electric buses. Project Long Description: One of Ecology's highest priorities is to reduce air pollution to the five million people that live or work near our busiest transportation corridors. By scrapping and replacing older,higher polluting transit buses with new,zero emission buses, we significantly reduce exposure to toxic diesel emissions for millions of people. These emissions reduction provide both near term and lifetime health benefits,including reduced health care costs and missed school and work days. Everett Transit(ET)is a municipally owned transit agency in Washington State,operating 10 fixed routes and complementary paratransit services throughout the city limits with select services to Boeing and the City of Mukilteo. The fleet consists of 46 fixed route buses with a standard fleet size of 35'and 40'coaches. A fleet of 28 paratransit
