I <br /> • The City will be responsible for tracking and documenting all changes during construction <br /> necessary to preparing record drawings,including obtaining red-line markups from the <br /> contractor. <br /> • For the purposes of preparing record drawings,the City shall consolidate and provide <br /> Consultant with one full size set of drawing containing all plan mark-ups in red-ink <br /> • No field verification survey is required of Consultant to prepare record drawings. <br /> • Labor and expense task level-of-effort budgets are estimates and consultant reserves the right to <br /> transfer unused task budgets to accomplish other service-task scope activities,if necessary,and <br /> only upon approval from the City. <br /> 5.0 Construction Support Services — East Grand Improvements, Phase 2 <br /> The City will be responsible for leading the construction administration and construction <br /> observation effort.The Consultant will assist the City,when requested,with the following tasks: <br /> • <br /> 5.1 Construction Administrative Tasks <br /> The Consultant will review construction submittals for document compliance,respond to contractor <br /> RFIs,and assist City staff with clarifications. <br /> 5.2 Attending Project/Site Construction Meetings <br /> When requested,the Consultant will attend the pre-construction meeting,periodic field meetings <br /> during construction,and final project walk-through.Budget for this task is based on the Consultant <br /> preparing for and attending a maximum of twelve(12) two-hour meetings to discuss construction <br /> issues. <br /> • <br /> 5.3 Preparing"Record Drawings" <br /> . ' Prepare electronic record drawings to indicate changes made during construction,based on drawing <br /> mark-ups provided by Contractor and City. <br /> 5.4 Re-establishing City Monument <br /> Establish reference points for right-of-way and survey control monuments in the project area. <br /> Should any of these monuments be destroyed during construction,Otak will survey the location and <br /> the contractor will provide and replace the monument,including case and cover. Otak will punch <br /> -the monument and document the final survey monument data,including filling out and submitting <br /> the"Application to Remove or Destroy a Survey Monument,"to the Department of Natural <br /> Resources(DNR). <br /> Task 5 Deliverables: <br /> • All forms,exhibits,and paperwork needed for DNR,per Task 5.4,1 CD w/PDF files <br /> • Returned submittal reviews: 1 PDF,Ea.
