RECEIVED <br />JUL 1 7 2002 <br />FINDINGS AND DECISION SC MA <br />OF THE HEARING EXAMINER OF THE <br />CITY OF EVERETT <br />IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION OF <br />VERIZON WIRELESS FOR APPROVAL OF A <br />SPECIAL PROPERTY USE PERMIT SPU #02-008 <br />DECISION: The requested Special Property Use Permit for the <br />expansion of the facility at 3110 West Mukilteo <br />Boulevard, Everett, Washington, is granted. The <br />Applicant is allowed a 900 square foot addition to <br />an existing 850 square foot telecommunications <br />facility. The Applicant is also allowed to install new <br />mechanical and electrical equipment. This permit <br />is granted subject to the conditions as set forth <br />herein. <br />INTRODUCTION <br />Verizon, 1800 - 41st Street, Everett, Washington 98201, (Applicant) requested approval <br />of a Special Property Use Permit from the City of Everett (City) to allow a 900 square <br />foot addition to an existing 850 square foot telecommunications facility on property <br />located at 3110 West Mukilteo Boulevard, Everett, Washington (subject property). The <br />addition would include installation of new mechanical and electrical equipment. A <br />Special Property Use Permit is required for such a use. <br />A hearing was held before the Hearing Examiner of the City of Everett on June 27, <br />2002.
