TASK 6: UTILITIES COORDINATION& DESIGN TranTech subconsultant, MSA,will provide engineering services for final design,bidding phase and construction support services for a 12-inch diameter water main and multiplefranchised utility improvements associated with the replacement of the Broadway Bridge crossing between Hewitt Avenue and California Street. This task includes the following subtask activities: 1. Coordination and Project Management The work under this subtask includes the following subtasks: a. Project Coordination -This task is for general coordination of the Utility Design work. This includes coordination of the MSA team with TranTech's Project Manager including meetings, correspondence, communication and weekly status reports. b. Project Meetings-Coordinate and participate in an initial kick-off meeting with TranTech and City of Everett staff and attend project coordination meetings as necessary. It is anticipated that MSA's project manager and staff engineer will attend one weekly coordination meeting per month, up to fifteen(15)meetings,with TranTech. c. Invoicing-Prepare monthly billings and progress reports describing services provided and completed in each billing period. Prepare,monitor and update MSA's project schedule. 2. Final PS&E Design Package This work under this subtask will include development of plans and specifications for the 100% level of design and the final design suitable for bidding for the proposed water main and utility improvements. Plans and specifications will be provided in electronic format to TranTech to be included in the project submittals. Drawings will be provided per City Standards in AutoCAD format and specifications will be per WSDOT Standards in Microsoft Word format. 3. Bidding Phase Services This work under this subtask will include providing engineering support services to the City during the bidding phase period of the Project. 8
