I TASK 9: CIVIL/ROADWAY/TRAFFIC DESIGN This Task will be performed by TranTech's.subconsultant Perteet to provide Civil/Roadway/ Traffic services. 1. PS&E PREPARATION Design team will prepare Bid Ready Final PS&E, specifications, and engineering cost estimates for the project based on the draft 100%design. Current City of Everett design standards shall be used. The activities include the following subtasks: a. Temporary Traffic Control/Detour Plans The design team will prepare Temporary Traffic Control/Detour Plans to support the full closure construction concept. The Traffic control plans will include site specific traffic control devices as well as signs and striping. A regional detour plan will be prepared to support the detour, encourage the use of alternate routes and provide advance warning for regional commuters/drivers. b. Ped/Bike Signal Plans The design team will prepare signal plans for a pedestrian/bicycle only signal at the intersection of California and Broadway. The team will prepare a signal plan,notes, schedules, and wiring schematics as necessary to cover all generic and site specific details as needed. The 100%submittal will include pole and, signal head indications and controller equipment location for review. c. Quantity Estimate and Opinion of Cost The design team will develop a quantity estimate and a resultant opinion of cost based on major elements quantity calculations. d. Bidding Phase Services This work under this subtask will include providing engineering support services to the City during the bidding phase period of the Project. Deliverables: 1. One full sized signed original plan set at Final 2. Special Provisions 3. One copy of the quantity estimate and opinion of cost. 4. All calculations(illumination, drainage,etc.) 5. Complete AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D electronic drawing files 9
